Velia, the new upholstered furniture collection by Bross

Velia welcomes with its compact and comfortable shapes, the softness of its shell, and the attention to its details. It is a new family that includes a pouf, a cockpit armchair and a small sofa, in which Marco Zito’s design emphasizes curvilinear patterns and defines, through different thicknesses, the elements that create the furniture: the base, the seat and the backrest, all upholstered and customizable in different Bross’ fabrics and covers. The first is slightly recessed from the seat, defined as an important, full volume with rounded corners and visible stitching that inserts into the shell. This completely envelops the other two parts: at the lower profile, it extends to cover the base, while providing ergonomic support for the back and the arms. Its wide and extensive upholstery evolves into a more complex design through an interplay of folds reinforced by vertical seams, visible on the front and back, that create the rhythm and design of the collection. Velia is designed for residential living as well as hospitality and work environments, where it can decorate waiting and conversation areas.
