Marco Zito, architect and designer, interprets comfort and functionality for Bross through different product families, ideally suited to hospitality, office and residential settings. Whether solid wood in a range of finishes, metal in multiple colour options, fabrics, leathers or cork, Marco Zito creates a universe of collections that embraces materials rooted in the Bross tradition while also exploring and combining them with more contemporary materials.

From enveloping seatings, lounge chairs or bergère, stools, to small sofas and poufs, together with coffee tables and desks, Zito’s creations expand the design applications of the brand’s collections through a clearly defined vision and a cultured aesthetic, in the spirit of Made in Italy.

Full volumes, deliberately abundant, supported by thin structures in deliberate contrast, are the stylistic hallmark that guides WAM first and SIT afterwards, two of his iconic collections.

WAM is a complete programme available as an armchair, bergère, small sofa, as well as a stool, bench, pouf and coffee table. The starting point is an enveloping shell, divided into two elements: the wide seat and the headrest, which together suggest material and colour experiments, customizable in tone-on-tone combinations or in contrast.

The metal base is conceived as a graphic element, available in black, brushed bronze, or in a custom RAL finish. The exploration of volumes reaches its peak in the bergère version—a free interpretation of the 18th-century ‘à oreillettes’ armchair—with a high backrest and enveloping headrest, in macro scale: here the product becomes a space for relaxation and privacy, also thanks to its acoustic absorption.

The ‘à oreillettes’ armchair is also featured in the Peggy collection, which reinterprets its iconic aesthetic not as an intimate shell, but as an oval headrest that widens outward, with a 1950s-inspired design. Also available in a low version, it features a trestle-style wooden base — in natural, stained or matte lacquered finishes — supporting the upholstered shell, shaped with varying thicknesses, and armrests with a portion upholstered in leather or fabric.

The aesthetic direction envisioned by WAM is expressed in SIT, which preserves the lightness of metal in support of a deliberately wide shell. Also available in an outdoor version, using specific, removable fabrics, it is offered as a chaise longue and lounge chair: the shell features curved, enveloping profiles with one open side, allowing versatile use of the seat and the pairing with a side table or a pouf. The metal base also appears in the Baltea family, where it supports a sinuous, enveloping shell, evolving from a structural element into an aesthetic detail in the dining armchair, where it forms the armrest.

Wood, symbol of Bross’s history, is featured once again in the Baia armchair collection: the solid wood base with a circular section consists of four legs that embrace the shell along its full height. The vertical lines are echoed in the stitching, which shapes the upholstery into a sophisticated pattern.

The creation of a graphic pattern that defines the product’s identity while structuring its form is also explored in Velia, a family comprising a tub armchair, a small sofa, and a pouf. Here, the reference to curvilinear motifs is expressed through deep vertical stitching, visible on both front and back, which precisely follows the folds that shape the shell. The result is a series of compact seats, where a petal-like silhouette opens inward, preserving the collection’s identity.

The soft delicacy of the signature details also inspires Petal, a line comprising a bench and a versatile element, usable as a coffee table or stool, ideal for conversation and waiting areas, as well as living and bedroom spaces. Its distinctive feature lies in the fully upholstered structure — covered in leather or fabric — with sides curved inward and rounded corners. Here, the seat or ashwood top fits seamlessly, creating a continuous surface, in a structural detail that defines the identity of the entire product family.

Ideal for hospitality and office settings, as well as contemporary kitchen environments, Cosmo includes two stools — with and without backrest — constructed through the composition of primary geometric shapes. Featuring a central, height-adjustable column, it has a circular, swivel seat, while the footrest is formed by a rectangular frame with rounded corners, ensuring perfect ergonomics.

Slice is a multifunctional element that can act as a stool, a side table, or a coffee table, designed for use individually or as part of a composition of multiple pieces in both indoor and outdoor settings. With this product, Marco Zito imagines complete design freedom: Slice is a cork-based module available in different heights and finishes, offering endless combinations that can be continuously customized.

The design versatility of the collections created by the Venetian architect and designer for Bross is further enriched by Rohe, a desk with an ashwood top, available stained or lacquered. It is a modular piece, configurable according to different needs: it can be fitted with a drawer, while the metal tubular frame can be extended to incorporate a textile edging on one, two, or three sides.

One signature, multiple collections.
