Side tables to be placed next to armchairs, wider low- tables to support the living area are the proposals of Bross in the world of furnishing accessories. The company is experimenting with different shapes and materials in order to give as many functions to these design objects: from the Mika collection to the countless variations of tables and coffee tables in the Ademar and Beleos family, to WAM, SIT and Loop – the latest novelties in the catalogue – the ‘world’ of Bross coffee tables is heterogeneous, with the use of wood, marble, metal and glass.
Loop, signed by Victor Vasilev, offers a pure and almost abstract aesthetic in the combination of steel and marble: a squared section slim profile black or brushed bronze finished, runs vertically from the monolithic marble base in white Carrara or black Marquina, and creates a loop at the top, always metallic, in a circular shape. In two dimensional variants, its unique design suitable to be placed into work spaces, hospitality and home.
SIT also shares the same objectives and is perfectly suited to environments with different uses: designed by Marco Zito, it is characterized by four slightly inclined legs made with a metal rod in black or brushed bronze finish, which support a square or rectangular top with rounded corners. It consists of a perimeter frame of curved solid ashwood, natural, stained or matt lacquered, in which a top either ash, MDF lacquered or marble top is inserted.
Ademar and Beleos coffee tables reflect the features of the two families of tables, both created by the collaboration with Giulio Iacchetti. Ademar is available in four dimensional variants, with a circular or oval top in marble, MDF lacquered, natural and heat-treated oak or Canaletto walnut; the underside of the top has a shaped non-constant thickness: it is a detail of great refinement that highlights the beveling of the solid wood legs, tapered and inclined. In the Beleos collection, the tapered leg with elliptical section is also in solid wood and supports rounded tops or rectangular ones with rounded corners or oval in smoked bronze crystal, marble or wood. The three proposed versions can be combined to create precious compositions for interior design.
Finally, the Mika side table, by Michael Schmidt for Bross, has a structure made by a bundle of slender black metal rods vertically arranged with different inclination that join together two rectangular surfaces with rounded corners: the metal base and the top can be customized in different material options.
